    Arrest two seized items worth more than 3 lakhs

    A duplicate Beedi making factory operating in the border of Samayala village in Savli taluka near the city was busted by SOG Vadodara. Based on the information the team raid the place and arrested two along with items worth more than 3 lakhs.

    According to the information received about the incident, the district SOG got the information about two persons were making duplicate Beedis by renting shed near KEC company in Samalaya village of Savli taluka.  Based on the information, the police raided the factory making duplicate beedis. Police seized loose packets of beedis, two wooden stands, packets of diamond paste, scissors, bundles of cellotape and labels stamps of Rajkamal, special telephone and other different brands.

    Police arrested Ishwar Doljibhai Purohit and Rangu Raijibhai Padhiar in connection with the case. Both of them did not have any permission or supporting evidence to make Beedis. Police arrested both and a total of Rs.  3,87,310 were seized from there for further legal action.
