Refund arrangement at Vadodara Division of Western Railway

Passenger can claim refund upto 6 months from DOJ

Due to COVID-19 situation, regular train services was cancelled up to 30.06.2020. However railways decided to start refund of fare to Passenger Reservesion system (PRS) ticket holders from 25 May, 2020 onwards at Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Bharuch, Ankleshwar and Godhra PRS counters.

One counter at each location will be exclusively earmarked for facilitating refund. The counters will be operated in two shifts on all regular days and one shift on Sunday.

“The refund will be started from 25th May where 125 tokens will be given in each shift at each location in the morning 7.30 hrs. & 14.00 hrs. in afternoon on first cum first serve basis. Passengers having original PRS ticket can obtain refund of fare following all necessary precautions issued by MHA including wearing of mask, social distancing,” said Khemraj Meena Public Relations Officer
Vadodara.

It will also be ensured that Refund to all passengers will be made available as refund can be claimed up to 6 month from the date of journey printed on ticket.
