Parul university kit of Homoeopathy and Ayurved Medicine to Boost Immunity against COVID’19

Faculty of Ayurveda of Parul University has developed a Suraksha Kit that contains medicines which can help in combating COVID 19 like condition. It contains medicines like Samshamani Vati, Sudarshan Ghana Vati, Khadiradi Vati, Murchhita Tila Taila Taila and Arsenic Album 30.

The novel corona virus (2019-nCoV, or COVID-19) epidemic first broke out in Wuhan and has been spreading in the whole world posed a great threat globally. The numbers of new infections and deaths in many countries including the United States, Italy, Spain and many other countries, including India are increasing. It has posed major public health and governance concerns. The period from the onset of COVID-19 symptoms to death ranged from 6 to 41 days. The most common symptoms at onset of COVID-19 illness are fever, cough, and fatigue, while other symptoms include sputum production, headache, haemoptysis, diarrhoea, dyspnoea.

In later stage it may develop pneumonia like illness and may require intensive care management and ventilatory support. Persons who are old, suffering from diseases of lungs or heart and persons who have weak immunity are more prone for development of complications or death. Hence development of immunity is very important for combating with COVID 19 infection.

Ayurved is Indian systems of medicine which has proven its beneficial effects and served mankind since thousands of years. Ayurveda explains many medicines which are very good in development of immunity. A composite treatment with such medicines will help in development of immunity. Taking the initiative Faculty of Ayurveda of Parul University has developed a Suraksha Kit that contains medicines which can help in combating COVID 19 like condition. It contains following medicines –

1. Samshamani Vati – 500 mg twice daily after food with warm water.

2. Sudarshan Ghana Vati – 250 mg thrice daily after food with warm water.

3. Khadiradi Vati – 250 mg twice daily for chewing.

4. Murchhita Tila Taila Taila – for Nasya (nasal instillation) 2 drops in each nostril twice daily.

5. Arsenic Album 30 – 4 tablets once day before food.

Samshamani Vati is extract of Guduchi which is one of the best known for developing immunity. It is helpful in reducing fever. Research has shown that Guduchi helps in improving function of white blood cells (macrophages) which are important in combating infection. It also protects liver. Sudarshan Ghanavati is also a very good medicine. Due to its proven antibacterial and antipyretic (ability to reduce fever) it plays very important role in reducing infection and improving health. Khadiradi Vati is a chewable tablet that contains Khadira as main ingredient. Khadira is very important in the treatment of throat pain. Khadira also shows antibacterial activity and also helps in reducing fever. Murchhita Tila Taila is Tila Taila treated with many medicines. Putting medicated oil in nose helps maintains lubrication of in nose and throat. It is very useful in cold. It improves health and strength of nose and throat region. Hence putting oil drops in nose can help in many ways. Arsenic Album is a homeopathic medicine that is very useful in fever.
