According to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the new tax structure led to price cuts of up to ₹10,000 on two-wheelers and nearly ₹1 lakh on cars. This resulted in the booking and delivery of around 1.05–1.10 lakh two-wheelers and 22,000–24,000 cars across the state during the festive window.

Dussehra day alone saw the delivery of 44,000 two-wheelers and 10,000 cars, with Ahmedabad district emerging as a top contributor, delivering 6,000 two-wheelers and 2,400 cars that day. Over the festive period, Ahmedabad recorded bookings of nearly 14,000–15,000 two-wheelers and 5,500–6,000 cars.

The SUV segment dominated car sales, highlighting a shift in consumer preferences. Compared to last year, Gujarat recorded a 15% rise in festive automobile sales, with two-wheeler sales accounting for around ₹1,000 crore and car sales nearly ₹2,300 crore.
