OSD, collector and SP visited Inox Plant at Karjan

Discuss some important issued related to oxygen

Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited Inox Plant at Karjan along with Collector and Superintendent of Police on Sunday and discuss some important issued related to oxygen.

He informed that Inox produces about 118 tons of Oxygen daily using Air Separation Unit technology. About 40 tons is allocated to Madhya Pradesh, 20 tons to Medical Industries making vaccine vials and the remaining comes to SSG and Gotri Hospitals.

The demand at both the Hospitals is about 65 - 70 tons per day presently. Hence Dr. Rao discussed how this shortfall can be covered with supply from Inox Plants at Surat and Ahmedabad.
