One female passenger died after came under the rickshaw near old Bapod octroi post. The rickshaw turned turtle and the victim died after comes under it. She comes to the city everyday for household work.

Dahiben Thakarda resident of Pavlepur village in Waghodia comes everyday to Vadodara city for household works in selected houses. On Thursday as per routine she took the rickshaw (Chakda) on the way to her work. Meanwhile after reaching the old Bapod Octroi checkpost the rickshaw turned turtle and Dahiben came under it and died. Another woman from her village Radhika Vasava was shifted to hospital with injuries.

People rushed to the spot after the accident and rescued the two women stuck under the rickshaw. Panigate police is further investigating in the case.
