Vadodara crime branch arrested one notorious thief for his involvement in stealing items worth 89,000 from five temples in the city. He was arrested along with a associate by the police.

As per details PSI R.K. Torani and his team received information about two persons involved in the theft inside five temples in last 15 days. Based on that the team arrested both from under Lalbaug bridge along with stolen items worth 89000 rupees.

The team arrested Jitendra Panchal from Mota Karala village, Shinor and presently resides at slum near Por crossing. He was earlier arrested in five crimes at Panigate, Wadi, Gotri and Makarpura police stations. The another arrested Jignesh Parmar resides in Shree Hari township at Ajwa road.

The team detect the crimes registered in Gotri, Navapura, Chhani, Jawaharnagar and JP police stations. 46,000 cash, motorcycle, two mobiles, silver umbrellas (Chhatra), one dismiss and hacksaw blade was recovered from them.
