    Malls and multiplexes to close down of Saturday and Sunday

    Looking at rising Corona cases the curfew timing in Vadodara city is preponed to 9 pm starting from Friday. The administration also decide to close down malls and multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday in view of the crowd and request people to avoid public places.

    Vadodara witness a steep increase of Corona cases in recent days and number of patients are also increasing at hospitals. To stop the transition the Dr. Vinod Rao Officer on Special Duty had a high level meeting with city police commsioner, municipal commisioner and collector and took some important decisions for the city.

    Dr Rao said, the cases are increasing rapidly and around 2500 patients are currently under treatment in hospitals. As a precautionary step they decide to impose night curfew from 9pm and close down malls and multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday. For markets the joint enforcement team will check the guidelines being followed and strictly maintain social distancing.

    He further said that the aim is to stop the spread of speed of disease and hence appeal people to avoid public places and don’t expose themselves. For city bus the manager and transport authority has to maintain the social distancing and they are responsible for it.

    He appeal everyone to support the administration in fight against the virus as all are passing through a very decisive phase.
