Rich Kid Rampage in Kanpur: Tycoon’s Son Shivam Mishra Rams Supercar Into Vehicles, Pedestrians Left Bloodied.
Panic erupted in Kanpur’s Gwaltoli area around 3:15 PM on February 8, 2026, when a Rs.10-crore Lamborghini Revuelto allegedly driven at high speed by Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco tycoon KK Mishra, tore through traffic and pedestrians near Rev-3 Mall.
The supercar first smashed into an auto-rickshaw, then crushed a parked Royal Enfield, before mounting the pavement and mowing down bystanders. At least six people were injured. One victim, Taufiq of Yamunaganj, was reportedly flung several metres, suffering severe leg injuries, while others sustained fractures and bruises.
Eyewitnesses claimed Mishra lost control and appeared intoxicated, allegedly attempting to flee as chaos unfolded. His private bouncers reportedly turned aggressive, triggering public outrage. Within moments, an angry mob surrounded the car, smashed its windows, dragged Mishra out, and damaged the luxury vehicle before police arrived.
Police rescued Mishra, shifted the injured to hospital, and seized the Lamborghini, registered in Delhi’s Rohini. The family, however, denied intoxication, claiming Mishra suffered a seizure linked to a medical condition ongoing for six months.
Tensions later flared at the police station, with locals alleging undue influence, delays in action, and soft handling—turning the crash into a flashpoint over privilege, power, and accountability on India’s roads.
