Removes uprooted trees and broken branches to clear roads

As the flood water comes down the relief and rehabilitation work is in full swing in Vadodara. The administration is not only working to save the people but also rescued the animals stuck in different water due to waterlogging.

Deputy conservator of forest Dhaval Gadhavi said, as per the instructions of district collector Shalini Agarwal their rescue teams are working day and night to save the animals strayed inside residential areas. With the help of local NGO the teams rescued around 30 animals comprises of crocodiles, snakes, tortoise along with others from the bank areas of Vishwamitri river.

Nidhi Dave from forest department said their 14 teams are working to remove the uprooted trees and broken branches from the main roads. Till Saturday morning the teams remove around 73 such trees and will clear the roads till Sunday.
