NDRF team comes to the rescue of one pregnant woman stuck in flood waters

Team rescued the mother and baby and admitted to PHC

Once again the NDRF team comes to the rescue of one pregnant woman stuck in flood waters. The team rescued the mother and baby as she delivered before the team arrived at the spot.

As per details given by R.K. Mishra PRO and Deputy Commandant 6 BN NDRF the NDRF Team at Rajkot got information about one 27 year old lady named Sushila Ben w/o Nana Bhai from village Changnwa having labour pain but her family is unable to carry her to hospital because of flood water. The team immediately started rescue operations and reached there home by walking around 03 km.

However she delivered before arrival of our team. Both mother and baby carried on a cot by our team around 03 km. Her another 06 family members also rescued from spot. Both mother and baby admitted to PHC Balmbha for further treatment after rescued from the spot by the NDRF team.

Mishra further added that culture of building of strong relationship with colleagues is the success of NDRF team.
