Prime Minister Narendra Modi mooted the idea of EBSB during Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31 Oct 2015, to establish cultural exchanges between people of different regions as a means to further human bonding and a common approach to Nation building.

100 Girls and Boys cadets from West Bengal and Sikkim will join 400 Girls and Boys cadets from various regions of Gujarat. During the camp, cadets from both states will showcase the heritage and cultural, customs and traditions of either state to strengthen the fabric of national integration and mutual bonds between the two states through various activities of cultural exchange.

This EBSB will provide an opportunity to the cadets of West Bengal, Sikkim and Gujarat to live together, share views and opinions and participate in a host of sports, cultural, educational and recreational activities.
