As a tribute to M Visvesvaraya, Engineers Day was celebrated by School of Engineering and Technology, Navrachana University by inaugurating Q-Lab in the campus. Q-Lab is a space to ideate, create and experiment.
A space created in the campus which can be used by faculty, staff and students for their hands-on projects and innovations. In the inaugural event, Guest of Honor Maulik Bhanshali, CEO, NetWeb Software, Chief Guest Gaurang Joshipura, Managing Director, Zeppelin Systems, Tejal Amin, Chairperson, NUV and Provost addressed the gathering and motivated students.
A contest on ideation – “Innovative Thinking for the Societal Needs” and photography competition was organized for the students. For the faculty, a contest on Design Thinking was organized which included a Egg Drop Challenge and some fun activities.
BK Basu, VP and Head, Corporate Centre and Technology, L&T Power shall preside over the valedictory function and certificates shall be given to the winners of the competitions.
