National NCC contingent hits bulls eye at All India GV Mavlankar shooting championship-2019 held from 13 Sep to 29 Sep 2019 at Rifle Club, Ahmedabad. The team swept 10 out of 12 medals at stake.

The championship is conducted by the National Rifle Association of India and the participating teams are from various States and also Para Military Forces. The DG NCC also fields a team in the championship.

The NCC team participating this year in the AIGVMSC has performed exceptionally and swept 10 of total 12 medals at stake in the .22 Rifle Peep and Open Sight Prone Position events.

It is also commendable that till date out of 25 participants, 22 participants have hit the Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS) for participation in the National Shooting Championship. The team is likely to continue its winning streak in the balance categories.

The results reflects the preparation, dedication and determination of the NCC cadets. NCC provides the required platform and exposure to the NCC cadetsto excel in competitive sports and participate at National level.
