SUB Aims to reach people in this lockdown period

The whole Vadodara city is under lockdown and people are staying at home to fight the deadly Coronavirus. In such time SBI starts a new initiative to reach people to fulfill their cash needs. The mobile ATM will reach the lockdown areas where people can withdraw money without violating the lockdown rules.

Vadodara district collector Shalini Agrawal inaugurated the mobile ATM among the presence of police commissioner Anupam Sinh Gahlaut, Municipal Commissioner Nalin Upadhyay, DDO Kiran Zaveri, SBI DGM Saroj kumar Patnayak and his team.

District Collector appreciated the effort of the bank to help people in this time of lockdown. She informed that the mobile ATM van will reach the places far away from ATM’s and provide the cash related solutions to people. Baroda will be the second city after Ahmedabad to get the mobile ATM for the benefit of the people.

Talking about the facilities, after every transaction the keyboard will be sanitised along with the whole van after sometime as part of precautionary measure. The ATM will allow every bank card for transaction and the customers using Yono will also withdraw cash from the mobile ATM.

Preference will be given to the areas situated far away from ATM’s and announcements will be done by the teams taking the help of district administration and police. Customers can withdraw cash without any charges as decided by the government during this lockdown period.
