Mega swachhta pakhwada celebrations by NCC cadets

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the NCC Directorate Gujarat is conducting a Mega Swachhta Pakhwada at Ahmedabad.

01 Gujarat Battalion NCC commanded by Colonel Sunith Cardozo is conducting a series of lectures/talks by eminent personalities dealing with the issues of cleanliness of Ahmedabad city at grassroot level.

On 18 Sep 19, Harshad Solanki, Director, Solid Waste Management of Ahmedabad city gave a thought provoking talk to the cadets of Ahmedabad group on matters concerning Solid Waste management in cities and urged them to understand the magnitude of Waste management.

After the talk cadets of 1 Gujarat Battalion conducted a Rally at Law Garden and interacted with locals on issues concerning Solid Waste Management.
