Meeting held with office bearers of political parties by State Election Commission

With the coordination of the District Collector and District Election Officer, the State Election Commission held a meeting with the office bearers of the political parties for the first time through video conference. State Election Commission Chairman and officials heard the representations from the parties regarding the upcoming elections.

State Election Commission Chairman Sanjay Prasad and officials listened to the representations of Vadodara city and district leaders of various political parties regarding the forthcoming elections of Vadodara Municipal Corporation and District / Taluka Panchayats through video conference. For the first time, a meeting was held by the State Election Commission with the coordination of District Collector and District Election Officer, Shalini Agarwal.

The meeting was held in the VC room of the Collectorate and the District Collector welcomed all with an outline of the purpose of the meeting.

In this meeting, objections, suggestions and representations regarding the new demarcation and allotment of seats in the context of the forthcoming elections of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, District and Taluka Panchayats were heard through video conferencing with the functionaries of the State Election Commission.

Resident Additional Collector DR Patel and officials were present. The meeting was first held for district and taluka panchayat elections followed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections.
