Medical devices provided for the rural area of Vadodara district by United Way of Baroda and other donors

36 Oxygen concentrator, 200 pulse oximeter and about 12,500 hand gloves will strengthened the health service - District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri

Under the auspices of United Way of Baroda, an NGO based in Vadodara city, four companies under CSR and with the help of another donor, 36 oxygen concentrators of 10 liters, 200 pulse oximeters and 12,500 hand gloves were recieved by the district health services for the citizens of rural areas of Vadodara district. These will be given in 42 PSCs and 10 CSC centers in Vadodara district.

Accepting these medical devices, District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri said that these devices would be very useful in the rural areas of Vadodara district for the treatment of corona patients. With the availability of these oxygen concentrators, many patients will not have to travel to Vadodara. Patients in need of 10 liters of oxygen will be treated at the nearest PSC-CSC.

Zaveri on behalf of the District Panchayat thanked the United Way of Baroda and other donors for the medical equipment received during the Corona epidemic and assured that the equipment would be used properly.
