Man died in a accident happened due to open sewer in Vadodara

A man lost his life on the road in front of Gorwa Prakriti Complex late last night due to negligence of Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan. Pre monsoon operations are in full swing and sewers are being cleaned by the staff.

However the lid was not placed and hence the accident took place late night in the city. The tragedy has sparked outrage among the families of the deceased and locals.

As per available details Pravinbhai Chauhan (45) lives in Subhanpura Santosh nagar of the city and earns a living by working in a private company at Ranoli. Late at night he was heading for work on his motorcycle and hit the cover put in front of the gutter in front of Gorwa Bhailal Amin Marriage Hall in front of Prakriti Complex. He hit the road and died on the spot with severe head injuries.

The incident happened late at night around 11pm during curfew time and with less movement of people Pravin could not get treatment on time. Meanwhile person passing from there called the 108 ambulance. Gorwa police also rushed to the spot and sent the profusely bleeding Pravin Chauhan to Sayaji Hospital in 108 ambulance, Where doctors pronounced him dead.

Police have registered a accidental death in the matter. The late night incident sparked a controversy in the area.
