After one week into Unlock 1, malls in Vadodara starts operating from 8th June following strict guidelines for the safety of people. Taking proactive measures before opening the administration ensure a safe environment for the shoppers.

Considering the impact of the COVID-19, one of the popular Eva Mall has taken proactive measures of drawing up comprehensive stringent guidelines and protocols (SOPs) to support secured operations. Making the safety of customers, retailers and employees as their topmost priority in the current circumstances, the administration is working towards providing a safe, hygienic, and secure environment to all their customers and occupants of the Mall.

“Eva Mall is putting in its best efforts to provide safe occupancy to the occupied retail unit including measures like housekeeping services, sanitization, security in order to remain safe and hygienic. We Sanitize the entire mall, especially all the touch points, such as doors, handles, escalators belt, railing, lift buttons. At any given point of time not more than 2-3 customers be allowed to enter elevator. For escalator, one customer will be allowed after 4 steps roll over. Ample hand sanitizers is placed in Eva Mall at All Washrooms, Help desk, Food court area for everyone entering the premises,” said Shahzad Nizam General Manager Eva Mall Vadodara.

Talking about the first day after closed for more than two months Shahzad added, nearly 80% outlets are open barring the multiplex and game zone. People are also coming in intervals in view of the Coronavirus situation and they hope the numbers will increase in coming days.
