    A major fire was reported from the old railway godown in Dabhoi after the optical wires suddenly went up in flames. Dabhoi fire fighter reached the spot and tries to control the fire as thick black smoke with high flames can be seen from a distance. No casualties is reported in the fire.

    As per details fire was starts from the optical wires kept at the narrow gauge old locoshed near Dabhoi Sarita crossing. The broad gauge conversion work in going on at Kevadia line and the contractor kept the wires there inside the shed.

    Suddenly the wires caught fire in the afternoon and in no time the thick black smoke and flames went up in the air which can be visible from a distance. Dabhoi fire brigade reached the spot and tried to control the fire with the help of Vadodara fire brigade.

    Railway department, deputy collector Himanshu Parikh, Mamlatdar J.N. Patel, DySP K.V. Solanki reached the spot after the message.
