Major fire reported from ware house of National Chemical Company in Vadodara

No causality was reported in the fire

A major fire was reported from inside the warehouse of National Chemical Company in Vadodara on Tuesday morning. Fire brigade teams reached the spot and tried to control the fire. No causality was reported in the fire.

As per the details fire was reported from the godown of National Chemical company situated near Roses garden in Navayard area of the city. Fire team from Chhani TP 13 and Dandia bazaar reached the spot and tried to control the fire starting from inside the company.

As per the sources old godown was used to store the chemicals and as a result thick smoke spreads the area after the fire. The nearby areas are also affected and people complained of uneasiness and trouble in breathing.

As per fire brigade officer the fire incident was reported early morning around 7 am and due to some chemical reaction smoke and fume exhumrate inside the ware house. As the team reached the spot they found the chemical liquid inside and hence sprayed foams from all sides to control the fire. The access of loss will be known afterwards. Police, fire department and other officials reached the spot after the incident along with the company owner.
