Locals of Darjipura protest against the administration for lack of basic amenities

Locals of Darjipura near Vadodara city broke earthern pots in protest against the administration due to lack of basic amenities for years.

The inclusion of seven villages in the Vadodara Municipal Corporation is being protested by the people. Similarly the locals of Darjipura are protesting for lack of basic amenities. After included in VMC they allege that for the last five years they are only heard about promises in the name of development.

The Aam Aadmi Party has been along with the locals start an agitation against the system for the last three days, demanding basic facilities in the area.

After demonstration with placards and posters at the head office of the municipality yesterday, on Thursday they broke earthen pots to continue their agitation. They shouted slogans against the administration and demand facilities in the area.
