Local woman slapped woman engineer of VMC

Police investigate the matter after the complaint

A local woman slapped a woman engineer of Corporation over parking of a two wheeler in Vadodara.

The female engineer went with a fellow female engineer to inspect the big pit developed on the road. They approached the police station and demand action against the local resident.

A big hole developed on the road near Vasana Road Shobhanagar comes under Ward No. 6 of the city.  Ashabahen Vaghela, Additional Assistant Executive Engineer and Meghaben Vankar, Additional Assistant Executive Engineer, Water Supply Department, went to inspect the site on a two-wheeler. The locals also arrived at that time.

Meghaben Vankar parked her two-wheeler on the road and was inspecting the hole developed on the road. At that time, a local woman named Rakhiben Thakor came out with her two-wheeler and asked Megha to side her two wheeler. However the matter get ugly turn after Radhika kicked the two wheeler of the engineer and that leads heated arguments between the two.

Not only that Radhikaben lashed out at Meghaben Vankar and slapped her.  At that time Ashabahen Vaghela tried to intervene but Radhika also misbehaved rudely with her.

People turned up near Shobhana Nagar where the incident took place.  Eventually the matter was referred to J.P. police station after the women employees of the corporation had lodged a complaint alleging that Rakhiben Thakore had misbehaved and slapped one of them.

The incident, which took place in the morning caused a lot of controversy in the area. Other ward office staff also rushed to the police station to help the female staff.
