The Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) has reaffirmed its commitment to welcoming Indian travellers by providing clear and efficient visa guidelines.
Georgia, known for its vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality, remains open to Indian visitors, who are among the country’s most valued tourists.
Indian passport holders can travel to Georgia visa-free if they possess a valid US, UK, Schengen, or Japan visa.
For those requiring a visa, the process is designed to be straightforward, with GNTA providing clear instructions to ensure hassle-free travel.
Key requirements include a passport-sized photograph, a scanned passport (bio pages only), Aadhaar-linked mobile number and email ID, Aadhaar Card, financial proof (bank statement for the last six months, ITR for three years, PAN card), and proof of employment.
Travellers must also present travel and health insurance, hotel bookings, flight tickets, and a detailed itinerary. Those visiting under sponsorship must provide a sponsorship letter, proof of relationship, and the sponsor’s bank statement.
At the Georgian state border, visitors must present a printed e-visa (if applicable), travel documents, proof of sufficient funds, return flight tickets, and accommodation details.
GNTA advises travellers to use only official platforms for information and application, ensuring a secure and authentic process.
