Regular international flights to India have been banned in an effort to keep Omicron at bay, but selected travellers will be able to fly between India and Saudi Arabia from January 1, 2022. The two countries agreed to create an air corridor connecting Saudi Arabia and India just a few days ago. Both countries' airlines can now carry passengers in both directions on flights, in the new agreement. Passengers travelling to India must depart from Saudi Arabia and be destined solely for India, and vice versa. In addition, holders of a Saudi Arabia visa from Nepal or Bhutan are permitted to enter the bubble.
