SpiceJet (SG), an Indian low-cost airline, has announced special flights to Prayagraj for the occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela, which will take place in 2025.
The airline will launch flights from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai to Prayagraj for a specific period of time.
All flights will operate between 12th January 2025 and 28th February 2025. SpiceJet (SG) will use its Boeing 737-800 aircraft to operate these flights.
This will be the first time the airline will be flying to Prayagraj (IXD), Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela.
Maha Kumbh Mela is a major pilgrimage and festival and is believed to be one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.
These new flights by SpiceJet to Prayagraj (IXD) are set to benefit millions of pilgrims willing to travel to this religious city of Uttar Pradesh.
The daily flight, SG 655, will depart from Ahmedabad (AMD) at 08:10 AM IST and will reach Prayagraj (IXD) at 09:55 AM IST. The flight time will be 1 hour and 45 minutes.
The return flight, SG 658, will depart from Prayagraj (IXD) at 04:30 PM IST and will reach Ahmedabad (AMD) at 06:45 PM IST. The flight time will be 2 hours and 15 minutes.
This will be the first time the city of Ahmedabad will see a non-stop flight to Prayagraj (IXD).
