Trains of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi are now renamed to 'Namo Bharat'.
The change in the name was announced prior to the inauguration by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday.

In April, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which is implementing India's first semi-high-speed regional rail service project, named RRTS trains as 'RAPIDX'.
In a post on X in Hindi, the Union housing and urban affairs minister announced that RRTS trains will be known as 'Namo Bharat'.
