Neeraj Chopra, the Olympic gold medallist, is most of the most renowned sportsperson from India, who made India proud by winning the country's first and only gold medal in a track and field event at Olympics.
Neeraj Chopra won a gold medal in men's javelin throw, and became not only the first India, but first Asian athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in the javelin throw. Later, he scored a World Championships silver medal and won the Diamond League champion in the javelin throw, which makes him the number 1 javelin thrower in the world.
