The Meteorological department has forecasted more snowfall starting tonight, marking the commencement of a three-day wet spell.
According to the weather office, the harsh weather conditions are expected to peak on the nights of 1 and 2 March.
Sources reported that various parts of Kashmir, including Gurez, Gulmarg, Sadhna Top, Razdan Pass, Chowkibal in Kupwara, and Machil, experienced fresh snowfall today.
