That’s more people than ever before, a testament to the growing demand for air travel across North Texas.

As the countdown to Christmas begins, the airport’s busiest days will be the weekends before and after the holiday, with Friday, December 20leading the charge.

On this single day alone, over 265,000 passengers will move through DFW’s terminals—a number that reflects the joy and excitement of reconnecting during the season.

But the holiday hustle doesn’t stop there. Record numbers on the road are adding to the buzz. On Sunday, December 1, DFW saw the highest vehicle volume in its 50-year history.

If you’re driving to the airport, particularly during evenings and weekends, expect delays near Terminal C, where construction is temporarily closing one parking garage and affecting surrounding roadways.
