Bengaluru: Free travel for PUC students on BMTC buses on exam days

Good news for the PUC students, as the authorities have decided to provide free travel to all II PUC students on the BMTC's ordinary buses on the exam days.

The II PUC exams are scheduled to be conducted from March 1 to 22.
Acrodong to BMTC, the free bus trips would not only operate all trips on the days of the exam but shall also run additional trips as per the demand.
On Wednesday, the Corporation's Managing Director R Ramachandran presented letters of appreciation and prizes to conductors, drivers, and two other staff for their hard work.
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is gearing up to hold the final tests for SSLC and PUC scholars.
The SSLC exams are scheduled to run from March 25 to April 6 and will be taking place at 2,747 designated centres.
At the same time, the commencement of the second pre-university (II PU) assessments starts on March 1 and concludes on March 22; these are expected to unfold at 1,124 examination venues.
