Due to operational issues and foggy weather this season, Indian Railways trains have been affected. The national operator has announced the cancellation of 437 trains on Thursday, after cancelling 385 trains on January 18 and 392 trains on January 19. It has also decided to change the originating station for 20 trains and shorten the terminating stop for 22 trains. On Tuesday, 385 trains were cancelled, 22 originating stations were altered, and 20 trains were short-terminated. 392 services were cancelled the next day. It has previously announced that various trains passing through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand will be cancelled until January 22. Because of the interlocking work being carried out on the Lucknow-Alamnagar section, this decision was taken.

In fact, more than 17 express trains that ran through Chhattisgarh and Bihar were cancelled. The decision was made due to ongoing work on the fourth line in Kharsia-Robertson section of Raipur-Bilaspur division of the South East Central Railway. Various trains on the Railpur-Bilaspur division have been affected by the work.

The Railway authorities have urged the passengers to visit https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes or NTES app to get the details of the actual arrival-departure of these trains.
