400 gm self raising flour

2 cup water

4 tablespoon flour

4 clove

10 tablespoon lentil

2 litre veg stock

16 medium peeled,diced potato

5 sliced onion

5 sliced carrot

3 sticks sliced celery

80 gm long grained rice

5 teaspoon mixed herbs

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

4 tablespoon virgin olive oil

To make your very own Vegetable Stew and Dumplings, take a pan and heat the olive oil in it. Add the onions and garlic in the pan and fry them well. Then put about 6 tablespoon of flour in the pan and mix nicely.

Now add the vegetables including potato, carrots and celery in the pan. Stir well. Then add the mixed herbs, rice and lentils along with vegetable stock. Cook at a low flame for about 4-5 minutes.

Now to make the dumplings take the flour and add vegetable suet to it. Mix these well. Using water knead the flour into soft dough. Then make small balls of the dough and coat them with flour. Put these dumplings in the stew prepared and cook at a low flame for 25-30 minutes. Make sure the dumplings are cooked thoroughly.
