INGREDIENTS OF SHAKARKANDI CHAAT

3 sweet potato
1 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1 medium star fruits
1 1/2 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
1 tablespoon refined oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
black salt as required
For Garnishing
1/2 handful coriander leaves
1 1/2 tablespoon sev
HOW TO MAKE SHAKARKANDI CHAAT
Step 1 / 4 Prepare The Ingredients
To start preparing this chaat recipe, preheat the oven at 190 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, wash the sweet potatoes, star fruits, coriander leaves, and pomegranate seeds, under running water. Then, peel the skin of the sweet potatoes and chop it up into small cubes. Now, slice up the star-fruits and keep aside.
Step 2 / 4 Bake The Sweet Potatoes
Next, line a baking tray with aluminium foil and place the chopped sweet potatoes on it. Using a silicon brush, apply oil over the potatoes. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes turn slightly golden and soft.
Step 3 / 4 Mix Everything To Prepare The Chaat
Now, take a large bowl and add the chopped starfruit and the roasted sweet potatoes. Add the chaat masala, black salt along with lemon juice and toss them up to mix thoroughly. Then, transfer it to the serving bowls.
