All you need is a refrigerator, large baking or metal tray and a very thin-edged spatula. In fact, you get to experiment with your favourite flavours when you make this at home and come up with the one that you fall in love with.

Not just you, your children will also fancy this delicious ice cream. Making rolled ice cream involves a few simple ingredients and a little bit of preparation. 

So if you have guests coming up, you can keep everything prepared and serve the rolled ice cream to them right after dinner.

4 oreo cookies

2 tablespoon full cream milk

1/4 cup whipping cream

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Step 1 / 4 Refrigerate The Metal Tray Or Pan And Spatula

Place the metal baking tray in the freezer well before you plan to make the rolled ice cream. When it is one hour to go, place the spatula or paint scrapers (whatever you are using) in the fridge as well.

Step 2 / 4 Prepare The Base For Your Rolled Ice Cream

In a small saucepan, heat cream, whole milk and sugar until it melts and becomes well-incorporated on medium-high heat.

Keep stirring continuously to avoid burning the mixture.

Once it bubbles, switch off the flame and let it come to room temperature. Then transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.

Step 3 / 4 Freeze Your Ice Cream Base And Serving Bowl

Take out the cold metal tray and spatula from the freezer and pour the base prepared in step 2. Add Oreo cookies and use the spatula to chop and combine the cookies properly with the base.

Keep chopping, scraping and chopping until well combined. Spread it on the tray in a thin layer. Freeze for at least 4 hours before you plan on serving. Also, put your spatula and serving bowl in the freezer.

Step 4 / 4 Make Your Ice Cream Rolls And Serve

Just before serving, take the tray, serving bowls and spatula out of the freezer. Place the spatula at an angle of 45 degrees at one end of the cold base and push forward. This will roll up the ice cream. Put the rolled ice cream in the chilled serving bowl using tongs. Top with crushed nuts, raisins or crushed Oreo cookies.
