Try this super easy Rice Feni recipe, which comes all the way from Konkani cuisine.
You do need to soak rice for a day but the end result is totally worth it. This dish is made by steaming and doesn't require any excess oil which makes it healthy as well.
You can enjoy these super soft rice feni with either pickle or curd.

Ingredients of Rice Feni
2 Servings
1 cup rice
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
2 teaspoon refined oil
2 tablespoon basmati rice
3 green chillies
salt as required
How to make Rice Feni
Step 1
Firstly, you need to soak the rice for one day in water. Now grind the rice in a mixer, along with green chillies, cumin seeds and salt on a mixer.
Step 2
Mix it properly. Now use an idli container and lightly grease all the cavities with oil. Spread a thin layer of batter on all the idli containers.
Step 3
Steam it for 10-15 minutes in a pressure cooker, in the same way that you steam idlis. Once done, take out the rice feni and serve with pickle and curd.
