INGREDIENTS OF SOOJI HALWA

6 Servings

2 cup semolina

2 cup sugar

1 cup ghee

1/2 tablespoon powdered green cardamom

water as required

For Garnishing

1 tablespoon chopped almonds

HOW TO MAKE SOOJI HALWA

Step 1 / 3 Cook Sooji In Ghee

To start making this recipe, keep a pan on a low flame add ghee to it. When ghee melts completely, add sooji and fry until it turns light brown in colour.

Step 2 / 3 Prepare Sugar Syrup

Meanwhile, heat another pan over low heat. Add water to it and let it boil. When it starts boiling add sugar and stir well.

Step 3 / 3 Mix Sooji And Sugar Syrup And Garnish With Dry Fruits

When semolina (sooji) turns light brown, add green cardamom powder and sugar solution to it. Stir well until sooji combines with the mixture. Lastly, garnish it with almonds and serve hot.
