Widely loved in Northern India, Paneer Wrap is a delicious and healthy tiffin-friendly recipe, which you can easily prepare for your fussy kids. This high-protein dish is prepared by stuffing a whole wheat chapati with grated paneer, french beans, carrots and paprika.
Make these wraps fresh, and we bet your kids will love this delightful surprise. If you like to experiment with your roll, you can add the greens of your choice, or you can also play with cheese spread, mushrooms, mayonnaise and more.
Ingredients of Paneer Wrap:
100 gm boiled green beans
1 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon paprika
100 gm boiled carrot
1 chopped onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Step 1 Prepare the dough and make chapatis
If you already have wheat flour dough ready at home, then your preparation time will reduce. If not, then knead a soft dough with wheat flour and 20 ml water. Divide the dough into 4 small balls and make 4 rotis/chapatis of it on a non-stick pan.
Step 2 Prepare the filling
For the filling, in a bowl mix grated paneer, boiled green beans, carrots, chopped coriander, chopped onion, cumin seeds, lemon juice, salt and paprika together.
Step 3 Saute the filling and place it on chapatis
On a medium flame, take a saucepan, heat the oil and saute paneer mixture in it. As and when the mixture dries up, place it on the freshly prepared roti and wrap it carefully, so that the stuffing doesn't come out.
Step 4 Serve hot and enjoy!
Serve the freshly prepared paneer wrap with green chutney or salsa and chips. Enjoy!
