INGREDIENTS OF PANEER GULAB JAMUN

4 Servings

250 gm paneer

2 tablespoon all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/6 teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

2 cup water

refined oil as required

HOW TO MAKE PANEER GULAB JAMUN

Step 1 / 5 Mash The Paneer

Add paneer in a bowl, mash it till it is smooth. Add flour, a pinch of salt, baking powder and 1 tbsp sugar. Mix well.

Step 2 / 5 Make Small Balls

Knead into a dough and make small balls from it. Once done, keep aside.

Step 3 / 5 Heat Oil And Fry

Now heat oil in a kadhai and fry the balls, until golden brown.

Step 4 / 5 Prepare Sugar Syrup

Side by side, prepare sugar syrup by boiling 2 cups of water in one cup of sugar.

Once it attains a two-string consistency, switch it off. Drop the fried balls in it and let them soak the syrup for 2-3 hours.

Step 5 / 5 Serve

You can garnish with nuts if needed. Serve warm.
