Instant Oats Dosa Recipe:

This oats dosa recipe is a must-try. You can prepare it in minutes and enjoy a wonderful breakfast.

Ingredients of Instant Oats Dosa:

1 Cup Rolled Oats1 tbsp Sooji

1/2 tbsp Rice flour/Wheat Flour

1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seedsto taste Salt

A pinch of Asafoetida

1/2 tsp Black Pepper7-8 Curry Leaves

1 tsp Ginger Grated1 tsp Green Chillies (Chopped)

1 tsp Coriander (Chopped)

1 small Onion (Chopped)

1 tbsp Oil

How to Make Instant Oats Dosa

1.First, roast the oats lightly. Now let it cool down and add some fenugreek seeds to it and make powder.

2.Take out this powder in a bowl, add one spoon of semolina and rice flour to it.

3.If you do not have rice flour, then you can also add a spoonful of wheat flour to it. One spoon curd, salt as per taste, black pepper, asafoetida, curry leaves, grated ginger. Mix all the things.

4.Make a good consistency batter by adding water as per the requirement. Let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes, now add finely chopped green chilies, curry leaves and finely chopped onions.

5.Flip the other side and bake lightly and serve with chutney or sambar.

Oats Idli Recipe

This nutritious Oats Idli is an easy and light dish to prepare. A perfect breakfast food, this idli has suji replaced with healthy oats which is best for those who are health conscious. A great blend of taste and health.

Ingredients of Oats Idli:

For Oats Powder:

2 cups oats

For Fried Mixture:1 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp chana dal1 tsp urad dal

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 Green chilli1 cup carrot , finely chopped

1/2 cup coriander leaves , chopped

A pinch of salt

For Idli Batter:1/2 tsp salt

2 cups curd

A pinch of fruit salt

For Fried Mixture:

1.In a broad pan heat oil over medium flame.

2.Add mustard seeds to it and let them crackle.

3.Now add chana and urad Dal, turmeric powder and green chillis. Mix well and saute until light brown.

4.Add the chopped carrots and coriander leaves. Combine all the ingredients thoroughly along with a pinch of salt and cook for a minute or two.

5.Let the mixture cool down for few minutes before adding into idli batter.

For Idli Batter:

1.Transfer the prepared oats powder to a large bowl.

2.In this add salt and the fried mixture. Combine well.

3.Now add the required quantity of curd and stir thoroughly in one direction adding a pinch of fruit salt to it.

4.Prepare a medium thick batter and leave it covered for few minutes.

5.Now grease the idli moulds with ghee using a brush.

6.Pour the prepared oats idli batter in each mould and put it in the steamer.

7.Cover with a lid and steam for about 15 minutes over medium flame.

8.After 15 minutes check whether the idlis are properly cooked.

9.The tasty and healthy oats idli is ready to serve with coconut chutney.
