INGREDIENTS OF MUNGODE

10 Servings

2 cup split,washed & dried,soaked moong dal

2 medium chopped onion

4 chopped green chilli

1 bunch chopped coriander leaves

salt as required

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoon grated ginger

HOW TO MAKE MUNGODE

Step 1 / 4 Grind The Moong Dal

After soaking the moong dal for an hour, grind it using a grinder into a coarse paste. If required, add some water.

Step 2 / 4 Prepare The Batter

Now, add finely chopped green chillies, onions, ginger, salt, and coriander leaves to the ground dal. Mix it well to form a thick batter.

Step 3 / 4 Fry The Mungode

Heat oil in a kadhai and then start adding small quantities of batter in the kadhai. Don't overcrowd the kadhai and fry each mungoda till it turns golden brown in colour. Transfer them to an absorbent paper.

Step 4 / 4 Your Mungode Are Ready To Serve

Your Mungode are now ready. Serve them hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
