1 cup rice

3/4 cup grated raw mango

2 tablespoon roasted peanuts

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

1 teaspoon chana dal

1 teaspoon urad dal

1/4 teaspoon asafoetida

2 stalks curry leaves

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

3 teaspoon grated coconut

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

salt as required

1 piece dry red chili

Step 1 / 6 Cook The Rice

Firstly cook the rice your usual way. Once cooked, set them aside for later usage.

Step 2 / 6 Heat Oil In A Kadhai

Now heat oil in a kadhai, add asafoetida, dry red chilli, curry leaves, chana dal and urad dal. Let them splutter for a few minutes.

Step 3 / 6 Add Grated Mango

Add the raw grated mango and turmeric powder. Mix well.

Step 4 / 6 Saute Well

Saute for a few minutes until the mango starts shrinking.

Step 5 / 6 Add Cooked Rice

Finally, add cooked rice and mix well. Add salt as per your taste.

Step 6 / 6 Garnish And Serve
