Bhelpuri is one of the most loved chaat snacks in India. This sweet and spicy light snack is enjoyed by everyone. The best part about bhelpuri is that it has fewer calories as compared to other snacks and you never feel guilty after binging on it.

This bhel puri recipe is a complete diet-friendly recipe. Puffed rice, chopped onion, sprouts, green chilies, chopped ginger, tamarind pulp, chaat masala, coriander and pinch of salt will make the bhel puri delicious and healthy. Ingredients like coriander, onion, and ginger offer a lot of health benefits.

Ingredients

• flat papdis or puris

• 2 cup roasted

• plain puffed rice

• 1/2 cup sev

• 1/3 cup boiled and chopped potatoes

• 3 tbsp finely chopped onions

• 1/3 cup finely chopped tomato

• 1 chopped green chilli

• seeded and finely chopped

• 1½ tbsp imli chutney

• 1 tbsp green chutney

• coriander leaves

• chaat masala powder

Instructions

1. Start by toasting the puffed rice. Pour some oil into a kadhai. Add the puffed rice, salt, and turmeric. Roast the rice until it becomes crispy. Turn off the flame.

2. Boil potatoes, peel and chop into fine pieces. Finely chop onions and tomatoes.

3. Take the toasted puffed rice. In a large bowl.

4. Add chopped potatoes, onions and tomatoes in a bowl. Also add chopped chillies.

5. Next add green chutney and imli chutney

6. Using a spoon mix all the ingredients. Sprinkle chaat masala powder and mix again.

7. Serve with sev and coriander leaves as topping. Papdis should be crushed and put all over the chaat. Your chaat has been prepared. Serve right away.
