Be it kids or adults, everyone will love these scrumptious pinnis. We have used sugar in the recipe, however, you can use desi khaand, shakar or even jaggery powder to sweeten the pinnis.

Make sure you store the prepared pinnis in an airtight container to make them last long.

15 Servings

1 cup chickpeas flour

1 cup khoya

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup ghee

10 raisins

5 cashews

5 pistachios

5 almonds

1/4 teaspoon powdered green cardamom

1 teaspoon milk

Step 1 / 4 Roast The Chickpea Flour In Ghee

Heat ghee in a pan or kadhai or a thick-bottomed deep pan. Add chickpea flour and stir for 3 - 4 minutes or until it turns light brown and becomes aromatic. Transfer it to another plate and keep it aside. (It will be in liquid form but no problem. When you add khoya and sugar it will harden.)

Step 2 / 4 Roast The Khoya And Mix With Flour

In another kadhai, dry roast the crumbled khoya until it becomes light brown in colour. Stir it constantly so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. (This will take around 5 - 6 minutes). Remove the pan from heat. Add the roasted flour and give a mix.

Step 3 / 4 Make The Pinni Mixture

Now let the khoya-flour mixture cool down a bit. Now add sugar powder and all the nuts. Add 1 tsp milk and mix well. Now let it rest for about 15 minutes.

Step 4 / 4 Make Pinnis And Serve

Now grease your hands with some ghee and make small pinnis from the mixture. Once all the pinnis are made, serve them and store the rest in an airtight container.
