INGREDIENTS OF PEACH ICED TEA

10 Servings

1 cup cane sugar

4 black tea bags

10 medium sliced peaches

mint leaves as required

1 litre water

1/2 cup ice cubes

HOW TO MAKE PEACH ICED TEA

Step 1 / 4 Prepare Peach Concentrate

In a saucepan, add sugar, ripe peaches, and 1 cup water. Bring it to a boil. Once done, lower the gas flame and stir to mix everything well.

Crush the peaches gently so that they can impart flavour to the mixture.

When the sugar gets completely dissolved, switch off the gas flame and let the mixture rest for about 25-30 mins.

Step 2 / 4 Make Tea

Meanwhile, brew your black tea in a large pot. After 4-5 mins, discard the tea bags and transfer the tea to a jug. Keep the jug in the refrigerator for a while.

Step 3 / 4 Prepare The Iced Tea

Pour the peach concentrate into a bottle. Make sure you strain the concentrate and remove the chunks of peaches. You can use all of it in one go or store and use it later. In a glass full of ice cubes, add 1-2 tbsp peach concentrate and then pour prepared tea over ice cubes. Mix it well.

Step 4 / 4 Your Peach Iced Tea Is Ready To Serve
