INGREDIENTS OF GULAB SEVIYAN KHEER

4 Servings

3 cup full cream milk

1 cup rice vermicelli

1/2 cup condensed milk

2 tablespoon dry rose petals

3 tablespoon rose syrup

1 handful mixed dry fruits

1 handful almonds

1 handful cashews

1 1/2 tablespoon ghee

HOW TO MAKE GULAB SEVIYAN KHEER

Step 1 / 3 Fry The Vermicelli

To begin with this simple recipe, take a pan and add ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add in the seviyan (vermicelli). Fry the seviyan till they turn golden in colour. Transfer to a plate and add nuts and fry them in the same ghee. Keep them aside.

Step 2 / 3 Boil Milk

In the meantime, put a pan over medium flame and add milk, boil the milk and keep stirring. Once the milk starts reducing, add condensed milk, cardamom powder, saffron strands. Stir nicely.

Step 3 / 3 Serve Chilled

Next, reduce the flame and add seviyan, dry fruits, almonds, cashews, rose petal. Cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes and enjoy. Allow the kheer to cool down and serve chilled.
