Ingredients of Futta Ka Paratha

4 Servings

2 cup boiled chana dal

salt as required

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon asafoetida

1 teaspoon ginger

4 tablespoon ghee

350 gm wheat dough

1 teaspoon dry mango powder

1 teaspoon black salt

1 teaspoon green chillies

2 teaspoon coriander leaves

How to make Futta Ka Paratha

Step 1 Mash and sauté dal for paratha filling

To prepare this easy recipe, mash the boiled chana dal in a bowl. Next, heat 1 tbsp ghee in a kadhai and add hing or asafoetida to it. Once the ghee is melted, add the mashed dal in it and saute for a minute. To the dal, add all the spices and mix them well until absorbed by the dal. Once done, let the dal cool down.

Step 2 Make a paratha using the chana dal filling

Now, take one peda of wheat dough and fill it with dal, and close it from all sides. Roll the above into a ball and using a little flour, roll it into a paratha.

Step 3 Cook paratha on a hot tawa

Now, place a tawa on medium flame and add this paratha on top. Apply a little ghee and cook from both sides. You can serve this hot with curry or pickle of your choice. Enjoy!
