Vadodara administration is all prepared for the Omicron variant of Corona virus. Testing of passengers arrived from other countries are carried on at the airport and till date the reports of around 80 passengers came as negative. Beds in SSG are kept ready for any such case and people are requested to follow the guidelines to be safe.

Vadodara collector R.B. Barad said, the till date around 80 people arrived from other countries including around 10 from high risk ones were tested on arrival at airport and their reports came out as negative. The beds are kept ready at hospital and vaccination drive is also carried on by the health department. Vadodara achieve 100% first dose vaccination and 94% in second dose. He request everyone due of their second dose to get vaccinated.

He request everyone to use mask, hand sanitizer and avoid crowded place to save themselves and others.
