Messages of a speedy recovery poured in from all quarters for spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who underwent an emergency brain surgery at a private hospital in Delhi on Sunday.

He had suffered "life-threatening" bleeding in the skull and is now recovering well, a senior doctor at Delhi’s Indraprastha Apollo Hospital said on Wednesday.

His daughter, Radhe Jaggi, too shared an update on her father’s health.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, who is the founder of Coimbatore-headquartered Isha Foundation, shared a video from his hospital bed.

Sadhguru was taken off the ventilator following the surgery, the hospital said, adding that he has shown steady progress and that his vital parameters have improved.

The spiritual leader had been suffering from severe headaches for the last four weeks, the hospital said.

However, the spiritual leader's headache worsened by March 15, when he consulted Dr Suri over the phone.

Suri immediately suspected a subdural haematoma and advised an urgent MRI, it added.

The spiritual leader underwent a brain MRI on the same day, and it revealed massive bleeding in the skull.
